Camp Firelight!

One of the best weeks of the summer for Dr. Martin Luther Church has to be our Vacation Bible School. This week our VBS campers have spent time learning to Trust God, as God goes with us, as God leads the way, as God shares wisdom, as God gives us peace, and as God sparks joy.

The Bible memory verse for the week was Psalm 56:3 “Whenever I’m afraid I put my trust in you.” Each day our VBS Camp Firelight campers heard a Bible Story, did crafts, learned music, and played games.

Our campers and volunteers heard from Lu, (short for Lumen), the lightning bug puppet, and Counselor Sam learned to face their fears while trusting in God.
